Wholesaler Bonus Program Effective Dates: January 1, 2026 – February 26, 2026
Incentive Period:
- If the Qualified Wholesaler has attended an Onboarding Webinar prior to January 1, 2026, the Incentive Period begins on January 1. 2026 and ends on February 26, 2026.
- If the Qualified Wholesaler has not attended an Onboarding Webinar prior to January 1, 2026, then the Incentive Period begins on the date that the Qualified Wholesaler attends the Onboarding Webinar and lasts for thirty (30) days from that date.
Bonus Program Eligibility Rules:
A $5,000 Wholesale Bonus will be paid to each newly registered Qualified Wholesaler* who meets either of the following criteria:
- The newly registered wholesaler registers at least 20 agencies/producers under its Thimble broker code. Each agency/producer must then bind at least one annual General Liability new policy through Thimble with a premium of greater than $0 within the Incentive Period; OR
- The total aggregate for new business written premium for all new policies bound by agencies/producers signed up under the newly registered Thimble wholesaler broker code in the Incentive Period is collectively $20,000 or more.
To be a Qualified Wholesaler, the newly registered wholesaler must meet the following criteria:
- The wholesaler must have executed a Wholesaler Agreement with Thimble.
- The wholesaler must be newly registered with Thimble as the principal or appointed company contact of the wholesaler with a valid & active National Producer Number (“NPN”). Existing wholesalers who have been registered with Thimble prior to January 1, 2026 are not eligible for this Wholesaler Bonus unless explicitly granted by Thimble.
- The wholesaler has completed their registration with Thimble in full. The wholesaler must have their valid and updated banking information including the Bank Account Number, Routing Number, Legal Name, W9 and Tax ID or SSN included in their Thimble Broker account, and must have approved Stripe’s Terms and Conditions, as required and applicable to their signed commissions agreement.
- Any qualifying agency or producer that is registered under the wholesaler must have a valid & active National Producer Number (“NPN”) and the NPN must have been provided to Thimble and displayed under the agency/producer profile. If the Agencies/Producer’s NPN is deactivated for any reason prior to the end of the Incentive Period, the Agencies/Producer will no longer be eligible to count towards the Wholesaler Bonus. If the Agencies/Producer’s has an account under another wholesaler registered with Thimble or has signed up previously with Thimble directly, they are not eligible to be considered in the calculation or receipt of the Wholesale Bonus.
- Only new business policies that are issued during the Incentive Period are eligible to be included in the incentive calculation. (Policies where the initial premium payment is returned NSF, or which are canceled, withdrawn, declined or not effective during the Incentive Period, are not eligible to be included in the calculation of the incentive.)
- The Incentive Period is subject to change. Thimble reserves the right to end the Incentive Period at its discretion, for any reason.
All newly appointed Thimble Producer/Brokers, including those under wholesalers, may also qualify to receive the New Broker Activation Bonus permitted that they meet all the eligibility requirements of the New Broker Activation Bonus.
