In a few short steps, we’ll help you start the claim process.

 

Be prepared with required information: 

We’ll ask a few quick questions about the claim.

  • The policy number of the insured

  • Your relationship to the claim. For example, did you or someone else (or their property) get harmed?

Remind your customer that it’s important to take a few precautionary measures:

  • Don’t admit responsibility for the accident or injury in question. 

  • Don’t discuss the event or share documents pertinent to the claim with anyone other than your insurance agent or authorized representative, Markel associates, or law enforcement officials.
